This event is General Admission, first-come first-served. Just show up! Three gigantic, stilt-walking puppets resembling birds from prehistoric times roam New York City, capturing your imagination and delighting you with their antics. How you interact with them is up to you—from afar or up-close, it’s your decision. They are playful and eager for attention. Since 1991, Close-Act Theatre from The Netherlands (founded by Hesther Melief and Tonny Aerts), has specialized in large-scale, interactive street theater for everyone. The company's unique form of elevated performance is performed in, between, and above the public. Close-Act's creations have been performed around the globe. In the United States, the company has been presented by the Breckenridge International Arts Festival, the Charlotte International Arts Festival, and the Without Walls Festival, among others.
